What to expect from game 8 of the GPL

In the game 8 of the Ghana Premier League, a lot of teams will be looking forward to secure points that will enable them maintain their place, move to the top or save them from relegation.

Legon Cities who are 16th with 6 points on the league table will be welcoming 11th placed team Elmina Sharks at the Accra Sports Stadium. Elmina Sharks who shared point in their last game are certain to get at least a point from the out of form Legon Cities.

It will be a relegation saving battle between King Faisal and Accra Great Olympics at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as visitors Accra Great Olympics will be fighting for a win to stay safe from the relegation zone.

Medeama SC who lost to Aduana Stars during the weekend are certain a win against Bechem United at the Akoom Park at Tarkwa will boost their chances of topping the league table.

Liberty Professionals who shared points with Kumasi Asante Kotoko during the weekend are confident of getting all 3 points from visitors Dreams FC.

13th placed Techiman Eleven Wonders who traveled to Elmina for a draw during the weekend, will be welcoming 15th placed and relegation threatened Inter Allies who are expecting at least a draw to increase their chances of escaping the relegation zone.

Berekum Chelsea who are now placed 2nd with 14 points on the league table are certain of getting a win from 12th placed Karela United team to enable their chances of getting back on top just in case 1st placed Aduana Stars looses.

Karela United who have been poor during away games this will also be looking forward to turn things with a morale booster from their 3-0 win against Legon Cities during the weekend.

Wounded lions and relegation bound team Ebusua Dwarfs will be hoping to turn to new page by winning against current league leaders Aduana Stars which will not be easy.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC will be traveling to Sogakope which once upon a time was a lions den to battle for points with WAFA to enable them keep their Africa dream alive.

Accra Hearts of Oak will have to win against visitors Ashanti Gold if they want to move up.
